    Ships...
     Sleepy...

I'm really tired and should go to bed, but I just don't feel like it.  I keep finding new HP fics to read.  It's like an addiction.  Me likes a good Snarry story.  They are the only m/m couple that I really ship... except for Han/Luke from Star Wars.  For some reason, Snape just totally strikes me as gay, and I can certainly see Harry swinging that way too...especially with how he described the Cho kiss.

My favorite Snarry author is Telanu who penned the wonderfully epic Tea Series.  It's finally finished now.  And it is unbelievably amazing.  It is one of the angstiest stories I've ever read.  I also love the fact that it isn't all sex.  There is actually a story here...a good one.  Heck, they don't even have sex until well into the story.  I'm not much of a fan of PWPs.  I like actual story-lines.  I also love Telanu's coffee stories....light-hearted and very humorous.  One of the few Snarry stories to really make me laugh out loud every time I read it.  It's just so true to the Snape character.  I don't ship any other couples out of HP.

    Other ships I follow are:
    - Mulder/Scully from The X-Files.  They just had chemist galore.  I liked that their relationship was always understated...that they didn't immediately hop into bed.  It took a long time, and people still argue that it never happened since we never actually saw it.  I think it happened but they left it very ambiguous.

    - Buffy/Spike from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.  Woah, talk about chemistry.  They were HOT HOT HOT!  I believe that I was one of the first Spuffy shippers.  I started shipping them way in the second season before Spike was ever a regular on the show.  They were just too hot not to ship.  Way hotter than Buffy/Angel who I never cared for...mainly because Angel is my least favorite character ever on the show.  I just couldn't stand Angel's character.

    - Chris/Rita from Silk Stalkings,  This was a 90s cop show on cable TV...USA network to be exact.  Sure, it is very dated now...the clothes, settings, etc.  I giggled at some of the sets and clothes even back then.  But Chris and Rita were just so perfect for each other.  They were the reason to watch the show.   You didn't watch for the mystery.  You watched to see the amazing cop partners Chris and Rita who were the best of friends and trying to deny their deeper feelings so they didn't screw up their friendship.  After four-and-a-half years, they finally owned up to their feelings and got married.  Then Chris was killed protecting his pregnant wife.  Chris' death was one of the saddest scenes in network TV, IMHO.

    - Clark/Lois from Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman.  I absolutely loved this show.  I liked it much better than the movies because it focused more on Clark Kent, the person, rather than Superman, the alter-ego.  I've always thought that Clark was the real person and Superman was the disguise (to protect Clark's identity and allow him to lean a normal life).  Too many shows have Superman being the real person and Clark the disguise.  IMHO, he grew up as Clark, not Superman...so he would logically associate himself as Clark.  Anyhoo, Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher had major chemistry.  And they were just too cute together.  I LOVED the Christmas episode Seasons Greedings where they get sprayed with a compound that brings out their selfish inner child.  It was such a fun episode, and I totally loved Clarks little sing-song "Lois is in trouble.  Lois is in trouble."  When she gets reprimanded for drawing a hopscotch on the floor of the Daily Planet in permanent marker...too cute!

    - Jack/Elizabeth from POTC.  Why, oh why, did theyt have Lizzie end up with the dull, goody-two-shoes Will when it was evident to practically everyone that she and Jack were much more suited to each other.  I'll tell you why.,,because Disney is predictable.  The girl ALWAYS ends up with the goody-two-shoes.  I actually never expected her to end up with Jack.  No way was Disney going to have her end up with an actual pirate even though they went out of their way to show that Jack was a good man even being a pirate and that Lizzie was a pirate herself.  That would just make to much sense.  I was actually hoping that Disney would have Lizzie choose to be by herself.  It would have been nice for Disney to show that a woman does not need a man to be happy with herself, to complete herself.  I would have loved for them to show Elizabeth as a strong, independent woman.  She could have always ended up with Jack later ;)

More couples that I ship include Ryker/Troi from Star Trek: The Next Gneration, John/Meg from the Replacement Killers, Col. Brandon/ Marianne from Sense and Sensibility, Finch/Maya from Just Shoot Me, Jackie/Hyde from That 70s Show, Josh/Cher from Clueless, Billy/Wendy from St Elmos Fire, Hannibal/Clarice from Silence of the Lambs, Ichabod/Kartina from Sleepy Hollow, Trent/Daria from Daria, Jarod/Ms Parker from Pretender, Jareth/Sarah from Labyrinth, Clarence/Alabama from True Romance, Korben/Leeloo from The Fifth Element, Robert/Celine from A Life Less Ordinary,  Johnny/Baby from Dirty Dancing, and more.
